Shipping and Returns Policy

 

Aeka Boho Woman is a Slow Fashion Brand where we make limited number of pieces in each style so as to offer offer our patrons exclusivity and unique style. This also helps us minimise wastage and stay true to our vision of treading gently on the planet we call our home. Our delivery schedules are therefore subject to slightly longer periods in order to ensure that you get impeccable quality that is manually vetted and ensured.

Order Processing:

  • All orders are meticulously processed within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) upon receipt of your order confirmation email
  • Processing of the order includes a thorough and manual quality check
  • Notifications will be sent when your order has been shipped
  • Delays may occur due to a high volume of orders or unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping Time:

  • Shipping time begins from the day the order is shipped and can vary between 6 to 12 business days.
  • Please be patient in the case of shipping delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to customs delays or weather-related issues.

Domestic and International Shipping:

  • Free local delivery is available within the UAE during working hours on business days.
  • International customers in INDIA, UK, USA, CANADA, and EUROPE can enjoy complimentary shipping.
  • For International Sales - Import duties, taxes, and VAT are the customer's responsibility upon reaching the destination country

Local Delivery:

  • Deliveries within the UAE are conducted during working hours on business days (Mondays to Fridays)
  • Customers will be notified via text message/email on the day of arrival, using the phone number/email address provided during checkout

Checking Order Status:

  • Upon shipment, an email notification will be sent, including a tracking number
  • Allow 48 hours for tracking information to become available
  • If your order hasn't arrived within 12 days after receiving the shipping confirmation, contact us at support@aekabohowoman.com with your name and order number
  • Local orders will typically have shorter fulfilment periods while International Orders will require longer waiting periods of about 12 to 18 days on the higher side

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges:

  • Returns are accepted ONLY if they are initiated up to up to 2 days after delivery
  • Items must be unused and in their original condition, excluding signs of wear and damage
  • Any order can be returned only once
  • To avoid returning orders dues to sizing issues, please refer to the Size Guide
  • Tags and Barcodes should be intact for the item to be considered as eligible for Returns
  • Refunds will be in form of Store Credit only
  • Store Credit:

    • A store credit will be issued within 48 hours after the order is picked up. In the unlikely case of a delay, please reach out to us at support@aekabohowoman.com. Store Credits will be provided via email
    • The store credit will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue
    • The credit will be of the amount of the returned products only
    • Shipping costs will not be credited back in any case
  • Cash or Money Transfer refunds will not be provided under any circumstances except if items arrive to you in a damaged state
  • Items not eligible for Returns include but are not limited to, items bought with store credit, items bought on discount, items bought using a discount code, customised items
  • Accessories and Bags are not eligible for Returns 
  • Refund includes the full order amount minus the absorbed shipping and processing cost. This cost may vary by location, and notification will be sent upon return receipt
  • Aeka Boho Woman reserves the right to determine the item's eligibility for return
  • For damaged orders, contact us at info@aekabohowoman.com with your order number and photos on or the day after receiving the item for a case-by-case resolution

Return Process:

  1. Contact our Customer Support team at support@aekabohowoman.com to initiate the return process
  2. Clearly state your order number, the item(s) for return, and the reason
  3. Our team will provide return instructions, including the return address

Return Shipping:

  • Customers are responsible for arranging, managing and paying for return shipping costs
  • We do not facilitate reverse pick ups
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for safe and timely return arrival

Refund:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, an email notification will be sent
  • In case of Damaged goods, If established, a refund will be processed, credited to the original payment method within a specified timeframe

Exchanges:

  • Direct exchanges are not offered at this time.
  • To exchange an item, follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item

Artisanal Variations:

  • Handcrafted designs/embroidery/sequin-work may have slight variations, showcasing our commitment to individual attention. Such variations should not be seen as flaws.

Packaging:

  • Aeka Boho Woman minimizes wastage, utilizing eco-friendly packaging as much as possible
  • Items are suitably packaged for safe and damage-free delivery
  • We don't believe in over the top packaging because our products speak about what we stand for more than any fancy packaging can
